The Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, Nova Scotia will be annexing an addition to its structure to facilitate twelve new Dialysis Stations.

To provide day light as well as thoroughfare thorugh the new spaces, the specifiation has called for Kawneer's 1600UT (Ultra Thermal) Curtain Wall system  complete with triple glazed sealed units for windows and entrances.

The Glazing units will consist of the following: a Solar Blue Tempered outboard pane complete with Cardinal's Low E 272 on surface 2, Clear Tempered interior pane, and a Clear Laminated inboard lite.

The air cavities of these units will be hermetically sealed with argon gass infill.

This system will provide a high thermal performance, whilst also adhereing to post disaster requirements. 

For entrances, we will be hanging Kanweer's AA425 Series Doors that incorporate an integrated thermal break within the stile and rail extrusions.
